Can I pause the account for a certain period of time?

Yes, but it is not recommended. When campaigns are paused, the engine stops learning and collecting intent data.

When your campaign is relaunched, the engine must start the learning process again. During this re-ramp, sales will be slow, negating any short-term savings you achieve by pausing.

To paused your account, email your Account Strategist with reasoning for the pause and any key dates associated with it.
